I own both the Braun and the Panasonic self cleaning shavers. The Panasonic works best for me. The cleaning cartridges are a better design than the Braun being water based rather than alcohol based. Less toxic for the environment, less weight and cost to ship, easier to dispose of, and bottom line, do a better job of cleaning the shaver because of the built in filtration system in the cleaning cartridge. Shaver looks and smells brand new every morning and shaves as close as a blade. Well done Panasonic!Product Review: This Cleaning Cartridge Is Great !

This is my first time using a Panasonic Vortex HydraClean shaving system. I think this cleaning cartridge is very good. The system cleans my shaver very good and the cleaner that is used in this package seems to do a great job. I have only had this system for about a month,so I haven't had to change the cartridge yet. I am very pleased with this product and happy to have purchased this shaving system.I wouldn't want to be without it! Product Review: Very nice

I decided to try this item after Amazon offered it at a great price. I had tried an electric many years ago and couldn't handle the pain of it ripping the hair out of my face, so I went back to a blade.
So I was a little afraid to try again. I'm so glad I did. It works great in the shower, and is very comfortable to use. The only complaint I have is that I cannot seem to find replacement blades or cleaning cartridges locally. Not a big deal.
