I am a home health nurse and it works well in those noisy situations when my patients don't turn the TV down. Although it has a few not so great points.
The unit is heavy, the cover for the battery compartment keeps falling off. The cuff tends to get very tight when it inflates. When I use it on myself it is easy to handle with only one hand. I don't know how long thew batteries will last, haven't used it more than about 3 weeks yet.
I guess for daily home use this is a nice monitor to have

This unit (EW3109W) does not come with an AC adapter! Yes, it's quiet and seems relatively accurate. But what a waste of batteries to use this device at home with batteries. The AC adapter (EW31095K) is currently listed as unavailable at Amazon and the unit that includes it (EW31095ACW) is twice the price. If you buy the EW3109W, know ahead of time you'll need to get the AC adapter somewhere else for $13+. If you don't want to have to use batteries, you'll have to pay twice as much at Amazon to get the ACW unit.Product Review: Blood pressure cuff / macine

This machine is superior to any home model I have ever seen, and also better than most doctors' offices with the 'old school' still believing ears are the most accurate; and this may be true, not so sure.
The cost skyrocketed, for this item, and we are very , very please to have purchased before teh price almost doubled It is still worth the higher pricing, but few folks have too much money in working society.
All my grumblings are gone, it is A+ and a superior addition for our home record keeping; so as to avoid the stated 'silent killer' of hypertension.

A little battle getting cuff oriented correctly. The hose from the cuff to the is to short, should be at least a foot longer. Very easy to use. Readout nice. Would recommend to a friend.
