This is a great monitor for the money. One set of batteries will give you 500 measurements, no sense in buying the AC adapter model for twice the price. You can also just buy the adapter separately for a lot less.

The monitor is certainly smaller than Omrons, but it is a little too bulky to be considered portable.
The cuff and case material feels very cheap and may not last.
Can't erase individual measurements from memory

Having tried 2 other brands, this Panasonic is a standout. Easy to use and seems to be very well made. We took it on a Doctor's visit and checked it with theirs. Ours was very close.

This unit is compact, very fast, and simple to use. It measures as it is inflating unlike just about any other device and that saves a lot of time. It is also accurate and consistent. I took this new monitor to my last doctor's appointment to have it calibrated to be sure it was giving me an accurate reading. The nurse commented on its small size and inconspicuous carry bag. The doctor was impressed with its accuracy. I had a different brand for many years until it finally gave out, and I like this new one much better. Great instrument, especially given its low price.
