Had an Omrion BP machine prior to getting this. I paid over $60 for that one and it only lasted 2 years before it started giving false readings. This unit is easy to use and is easily portable for travel. Would recommend this to friends.Product Review: Good BP Monitor

This is a good BP monitor. My Husband is a Firefighter/Paramedic and he took my blood pressure with his equipment and then I took my Blood Pressure with this one and the reading was accurate. I bought this for my girlfriend who was suffering from low pressure. Her doctor recommended that she take her pressure every day by going to fire rescue or the local pharmacy but I figured it would be convenient to have one of these around instead. I purchased the Panasonic EW3109W Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor (White) and it worked like a charm. However more recently it has been unaccurate (not to a high degree though) but thankfully my girlfriend is healthy and has not needed it. I purchased this because a nurse sent me home with a Blood Pressure Record slip. I figured it was worth $35 to save me the inconvenience of having to constantly swing over to a store that had a blood pressure machine.
After using this for several weeks, I found that the numbers taken at home were lower than what they were when I went to the doctor's office or the store. I believe this has more to do with my calmer demeanor (at home) than an inaccuracy with the machine. A good thing too as it shows that my BP is within a normal range.
It's bigger than I thought it would be from looking at the picture, but that's not a problem with me. Stores in the bag it came with quite nicely. Easy to take out, sit down, and get a quick measurement. The quality of the device feels very solid as well.
