I've had the shaver for about a month now and so far it's a top notch unit. I don't have a real tough beard so I can't say how well it would shave Fred Flintstone, but the average beard guy should be real happy. I just blow out the shavings for quick shaves and twice a week run it thru the clean cycle. This weekly practice for me works well and saves on cleaning solution. Also Lectric Shave preshave works great for me if you need a little extra lube and close shave.Product Review: Great Results for an Electric Shaver

I purchased this shaver based upon other reviews I had read. Botom line is when used dry it gets very close but you can still feel some stuuble. When used wet with shave cream it's almost as good as a Mach 3 blade and gel. But if you want a completely smooth head nothing beats a Mach 3 blade when used with a gel.
This shaver works great in-between those blade shaves when a perfectly smooth scalp is not necessary. I give it a thumbs up !!

Was looking at Norelco (pricey) but came across this and purchased it based on the reviews of others. I absolutly love this shaver. I use it in the shower evey day and simply rinse it out under the shower head. It shaves as close as my old Gillett Mach 3 razor. I havn't used the cleaning system yet as rinsing the soap out of it after each use works just as good. You can't go wrong with this shaver. This is another great shaver by Panasonic. It shaves very close and was comfortable from the first day. Make sure you continue to buy the cartridges to clean the shaver to keep it working like new. The linear motor in the shaver makes all of the difference in the world. My first shaver had a linear motor. I replaced it with one that did not and it did not shave nearly as good as this one. If you want a great shaver, this is one to consider.
