Product Review: Excellent shaver with room for improvement

My last 2 Brauns died prematurely because of poor plastic materials used in the knive's motion transmission. Decided to leave the brand after more than 40 years of loyalty.
This Panasonic is doing a wonderful job of shaving. Purchased it from Amazon about a month ago.
Pros: shaves well, quiet, fast, battery recharges quickly, easy to clean with soap under water.
Room for improvement:
1. Too bad it is not offered without the bulky cleaning station. Why pay for it if is not necessary.
2. The head swivels only side-to-side but not up-and-down. My last Braun did both and that was very convenient. If any, the up-and-down swivel motion would be more helpful to have the shaver more perfectly aligned with the skin surface.
3. The carved shape of the handle does not give me the leveraged grip as the straight one did.

I have owned this shaver for 3-4 years finally changed the foil and cutting head.this shaver has worked perfectly, recently I started spending more time shaving thats when I decided to change the Foil and Cutting heads ($40.00 and took about 15 seconds to change out) This is the best shaver I have ever owned, however I am upgrading to the panasonic ES LA93 K, cause I have read reviews that say it is the beast! and my face deserves the best always!!! and Panasonic is the best hands downProduct Review: Fast Motor - Easy Shave

I bought this product being a previous Panasonic owner and reading reviews. This razor is a bargain when purchased online and not available at all stores. The motor is much quicker than any other Panasonic I've used. It gets five stars for its kind of razor. I wouldn't recommend this style of razor for shaving neck hairs that go in every direction, but it is going to blow away everything else for shaving just the face. It's sometimes better than a straight razor and you can shave more than once a day without irritation. I don't use the cleaning cartriges and have not ever inserted mine and also removed the water tank for better looks. My razor has held the first charge and is still going since exactly one month ago. I have finally found an electric shaver that works! It gets as close to a razor shave as you can get. I like that you can use the self cleaning mode or use some soap and water. I prefer to use soap and water and save the self cleaning for twice a month. The only thing that might, and I repeat might, be a set back is that it runs a little loud. GOOD SHAVER IF YOU USE SHAVING GEL. DOES NOT WORK TOO WELL ON DRY SHAVING.TAKES ABOUT THE SAME TIME AS MANUAL RAZOR BUT IS MUCH SAFER. I USE IT TO SHAVE THE HAIR ON MY EAR AS WELL.WORKS GREAT THERE TOO.
