This Panasonic facial groomer works fairly well. It doesn't merit being more expensive than any other facial groomers. It works about the same. They should have at least included one battery just to get you started with it. The next time I need to purchase a facial groomer I will purchase one of the cheaper models which are not necessarily made by Panasonic. While I bought this product after reading the positive reviews on amazon, I was still a bit apprehensive at the idea of essentially *shaving* my face! Eeeek! It turns out, this is not scary; I did not get five o'clock shadow (horror). I am a young woman but have always had a fuzzy face. Just genetic bad luck. Sometimes, under certain lighting conditions, I would feel like my face was just covered in hairs, and sometimes, they interfered with makeup application. I was bleaching and tweezing sporadically, but it was a quixotic battle. I'm happy to say, this really does the job! It's small and easy to use, and the fuzz is gone. I absolutely recommend it.
And for those seeking a longer term method of hair removal, I've recently discovered that it's pretty easy to learn how to thread your own face; look for videos on youtube. Between threading and the groomer, I no longer feel like a bearded lady!

A problem that many women do not like to admit is having excess/unwanted facial hair. In the past i had used sally hanson creams and what not to get rid of upper lip hair, ect. It worked great for a few months then one day out of the blue i had a horrible reaction to it, my skin was burned and the marks did not fully go away until about a year. Obviously i was done with creams and such. I took a chance on this item because of the affordable prices, great reviews, and it looked to be a great item.
IT IS! The large blade is PERFECT for getting rid of upper lip hairs. It gets rid of it quick and easily with almost no irritation. I also tried it on other hairs on my face and it worked great. I have not yet used the eyebrow blade but i might in the future. For someone who wants a pain-free, and affordable way to get rid of facial hair, this is the product for you!
