Product Reviews of Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Nose/Facial Hair Trimmer, BlackProduct Review: Does what it's supposed to do Summary: 5 Stars
This is a pretty simple device that works as advertised. What more could one want? Takes care of those annoying ear and nose hairs and best of all, doesn't pinch or cut your skin. I'd recommend this product.
Product Review: Doesn't do its job. Summary: 1 Stars
I bought a Panasonic nose and ear hair trimmer some 6 years ago and was quite happy with it until it gave up its ghost. Upon ordering this new Panasonic ER430K ear and nose hair trimmer and using it for the first time, I have to agree with some of the other informed users: it's not doing its job! You really have to read the fine print on Panasonic's product description to learn that Panasonic changed the blade angle from 90 degrees to 60 degrees, presumably out of legal concerns because some idiots could sue Panasonic if they hurt themselves using the trimmer. The prior Panasonic devices, featuring a 90 degree blade/cutting angle were perfect for a close shave. This new, legally improved 60 degree arrangement does not cut/shave close enough and leaves 2 to 3 millimeter stubbles of hair in your nose and ears. No good. If I want to get rid of nose or ear hair, I want it gone, PERIOD, and not have stubbles remaining. If you're as perfectionist as I am, you will NOT want this "improved" Panasonic trimmer -- and, unfortunately, the way I understant it, this new blade/cutting angle applies to all Panasonic nose and ear hair trimmers. Amazon is amazing:) in its return policy -- and that's the way it should be. I got the full refund and am experimenting with other nose and ear hair trimmers. Actually, I just got a cheapo $9 Conair trimmer at Bed, Bath & Beyond, and it seems to be doing its job quite nicely. However, I will reserve my final verdict until another trim.
Product Review: Don't Bother Summary: 1 Stars
I recently purchased this model to replace an older Panasonic model that I loved for years. This new model ER430K is simply horrible and is a completely unacceptable replacement. It's nice and quiet, and I'm sure the vacuum works great, but I wouldn't know since the blades would not cut the hairs I was trying to trim. We're talking about hairs easily 1/4" in length. A trimmer should be able to shave those down, don't you think? If the hair was longer than that I could have used scissors. Don't bother even trying this product, it's a waste of money.
Product Review: Easy/fun to use. Summary: 5 Stars
This is so easy to use, it`s fun!.
The vacuum has a cooling tickle to it.
Clean up is easy. Just rinse.
On the 5 star scale. I give this 7 stars!.

Product Review: Evil Nose & Ear Hair Begone!!! Summary: 5 Stars
What can one say about the Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer except two words... It Works!
Not only does it shave away unsightly nose and ear hair, but the built in vacuum means you won't accidentally breathe in any nose hair strands that will get caught in the back of your throat (similar to what happened to Larry David in that episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.)
Appropriate as a gift for married guys, single guys, tough guys, average guys, or even metrosexuals. A perfect birthday present or stocking stuffer at Christmas (or Hanukkah). Excellent for the man who is nasty and as scandalous as a mug (with regards to the crops and bushes growing out of his nose and ears)!
