Product Reviews of Panasonic ER411NC Nose and Ear Hair GroomerProduct Review: poor quality Summary: 1 Starsi had this same nose hair trimmer for years and i dropped and broke it. i assumed this new one would be the same--WRONG it's horrible--takes forever and doesn't remove nose hairs or ear hairs. will look for a better trimmer. JUNK!
Product Review: Very good clipper Summary: 5 StarsOf all nose/ear hair clippers I tried (including other Panasonics) this is the best. Cuts all kinds of hair, including fuzzy hair, very close, without skin damage. On top, it's quiet and washable.
Product Review: Bloody Nose Machine Summary: 2 StarsI've had this item for quite some time and keep giving it shot after shot after shot. This does a good job of cleaning out nose hairs, however it cuts the inside of my nose at the same time, leaving me with a blood crusted inside which takes weeks to heal! It also gets really hot when in use, which makes it even less comfortable!
Product Review: This product has changed....for the worse Summary: 1 StarsMany of the reviews here 2 years and older refer to an earlier verison of this model.
Panasonic is now using a less powerful motor and apparently changed the blade design as well. I used to think this was a superior trimmer. Now, it is on par with all the others.
I purchased this product about 2 years ago based on all the positive reviews, and I loved it. I will admit it that the only drwaback was that it would very slightly pull hairs if they were too long, but that could be avoided with routine use.
My kids recently broke mine. Without hesitation, I reordered from Amazon. I was shocked to discover this newer version has a less powerful motor. I knew the second I turned it that the motor was different. It sounded like my old one with nearly dead batteries!
It took longer to trim hairs and did not even do a thorough job.
What a disappointment!
Product Review: Do You Like Ripping Out Your Nose Hairs?, Summary: 1 StarsI purchased this nose hair trimmer several months ago and never bothered leaving a review. I'm glad that I waited. When I first starting using it there was no problem. But in a very short time the blades started to dull and all I was able to accomplish when attempting to trim my nostril hair was to yank the hairs out by the roots. I "googled" this trimmer online and noticed that lots of guys seemed to be having the same problem.
Panasonic claims (on their customer support website) that this trimmer, when used 1 minute per week will last 3 years. That's only 156 minutes and thats if you only use it 1 minute per week! I was easily using it for at least 5 minutes a week so no wonder it only lasted a few months.
So what's the answer. Well, I found another trimmer, the Platinum XL by Groom Mate, which I have had now for 3 weeks and love. No more pain, no more batteries, and no more nose hair!
Good luck guys!
