Product Reviews of Panasonic ER411NC Nose and Ear Hair GroomerProduct Review: A review about a trimmer? Summary: 5 Stars
Uh..yeah. This groomer is fantastic. Quiet, comfortable, and very easy to use.
Product Review: A yanker, but not too bad Summary: 4 Stars
Well, this little guy Does pull on your nose and ear hairs, and if that doesn't bother you you're a better man than I GD. I admit to a bit of "yikes" now and then, but I Did discover that if you move the mower Slowly whilst hewing the internal forests it greatly reduces these little surprises. Having spent long years with scissors and mirror I Do feel that this is a great improvement. It is considerably faster in the nose mowing area, and I never did dare to explore my otic growth with any object sharper than a Q-tip. It's also quite comprehensive in its coverage, reaching well into all nooks and crannys. I now feel quite secure in my general appearance, and any person curious enough to take a gander into my facial orifices will find me nicely groomed and most presentable.
Product Review: About What You'd Expect for the Price Summary: 3 Stars
I've had one of these for about a year. It worked fairly well for several months, but then went into a slow decline in which it occasionally yanked hairs instead of trimming. The blades just get dull. It's not all that easy to clean, which doesn't help things. For this price however I suppose it's hardly unexpected, and buying a new one every 9-12 months isn't the worst deal in the world. I do feel sorry for the woman who bought one for her husband who hates it. Her heart is in the right place.
Product Review: After 5 months, stopped working Summary: 2 Stars
I bought one at sharper image. worked great for the first 5 months or so. Now, the motor goes on and off so I can't use it. I guess it's going into the trash bin. :(
Product Review: Always tickles, sometimes hurts Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this a couple months ago and have been using it regularly.
When using this for my nose it always tickles and occasionally hurts. Before I bash it more let me say it works fast and gloriously for the ear. But the tickling/yanking when it comes to the nose makes it unpleasant and slow.
Try this: Get a pair of those small grooming scissors and simply be careful with them. If you're careful they'll be quicker and much more pleasant for the nose and nearly as quick for the ear.
One more thing: That first review ('glorious') with so many 'helpful' checks seems way planted.
