I have had this shaver for years and it stills gives me excellent service. I recently bought a Brawn but it does not come close to this panasonic shaver. The panasonic shaves close, gives me the reliability i need in a shaver and charges in little time....this definietly is a life saver for me.Product Review: Does the job!

This trimmer is simple to use. Its highest setting cuts the beard to about 3/4 inch. This is perfect for me. It is convenient enough that I trim every day or two. It takes less than a minute to keep a just-trimmed appearance. I find setting 2 is just right for moustache, sideburns and eyebrows. The comb attachment removes easily for close trimming. The instructions say not to charge over 48 hours at a time to avoid battery damage, so you would not want to store it plugged in. I charge mine about once a week for 45 minutes or so while I get dressed. The retractable AC plug instead of a cord is a nice feature. RecommendedProduct Review: Doesn't get as close as others

Although the Panasonic is a nice little product and convenient because of the built in plug for recharging, I've used trimmers in the past, like the Braun, which have given a closer crop than this one does on setting number 1.Product Review: Doesn't trim close enough to suit me.

This is my 2nd Trimmer of the same Similar Model. I really like the New improvements. Ex. The Locking Comb, and the Built in Charger.
