Product Review: DO NOT BUY IT! there's a catch

Product is fantastic except for one HUGE flaw. The comb attachment is made of very soft plastic that will break after about 2 months. It happened to me and it happened to a friend of mine.
Once that happened there's absolutely no way you can get a replacement part. Panasonic says that the part is back ordered and they don't know when it will become available again. Also, this part is not covered by the warranty since it's a consumable part.
Well yes. It's extremely "consumable" and once it's been consumed you are stuck with nothing more than a zero length shaving machine.
Keep in mind my bearded friends, unless you don't mind ending up with massive,Zizi Top beards this product is not worth even the low price it's going for.
Product Review: Dead after one use! Never had this experience with panasonic

I have ordered this item along with a Panasonic shaver. I used them both for about 5 minutes. two days later I turned this trimmer on again and it did not work. I first thought it was out of charge and recharged it and nothing! The shaver works pretty good but this product cannot be a Panasonic or must be the bad apple. Very disappointing! I thought of sending it for a repair and I read the details of the warranty and I have to pay for shipping both ways and insure and all that. The item itself is less than $30. I would probably end up paying more for shipping it for repair and besides I have to chase it around; lots of headache! I would say be cautious!Product Review: Designed for failure

I liked this product very much while it worked. However, the plastic guard is VERY flimsy. It broke after about 20-25 uses. I can't find a replacement part, so the product is now non-functional. I am VERY careful & gentle with my things, and this is totally rare for me. In my opinion, this is a design failure. Very unfortunate, because if that part held up, I would like the product very well. A shame.

I purchased this bearm trimmer for utilizing on a frequent basis. I had no problem with the overall quality of the item. What I had issue with was the trimmer did not trim the hair as closely as stipulated. I like to keep a very close trim, it leaves the hair quite prickly, not as short as the Wahl I presently own and was replacing. I returned the Panasonic, now am seeking another brand.Product Review: Disappointing

My old Wahl trimmer was not working right so I purchased this item based on all the positive reviews. What a disappointment! Hair gets caught very quickly in the comb and I have to keep removing the comb to empty the hair. It also periodically catches hair causing my partner to wince. Not good for a trimmer. Even using it corded it was not powerful enough and needed several passes to get a decent cut. We have been cutting each others hair for over 15 years (and saving lots of money in the process). This hair trimmer is one of the worst ones we have bought. I am going to look for another Wahl and will return this product if I can.
