Product Reviews of Pampers Swaddlers Diapers, Newborn Sesame Street, 40-CountProduct Review: THE CONTROVERSY HUGGIES VS PAMPERS Summary: 5 Stars
I was very fortunate and was given both pamper swaddlers ( HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) And Huggies Newborns. In a huge amount of both. My son was 6 + lbs and i found that the huggies always were to big causing him to leak, also leaving crystals on his bottom. As far as Pampers i loved that it was stretchy and seemed to fit him. For every baby it varies im sure, i say buy both, i have stuck with Pampers from the beggining because we NEVER have leaks. And I havent tried huggies since, because of the crystals. Its a small price difference.
As far as how there is two pamper brands ( when you get past swaddlers there is pamper purple and pamper baby dry ( green) ) I recommend the purple for boys and the green for girls. They are padded differently and James always leaked in the green and never the purple, and my girlfirends daughter always leaked in purple and never in the green. :) Hope this helpS!!
All in all i was completely satisfied!!!!
Product Review: THE VERY BEST DIAPERS Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best diapers ever. They are soft, smell good; and have flexible stretchy sides, plus no leaks. They are also not bulky, but slim-fitting. They just seem much more comfortable than the other Huggies and Luvs we tried. I wish they only went above Size 2. I have a big baby, and outgrowing the Swaddlers was very disappointing. However, if you're looking for the next best thing, I recommend the Pampers Cruisers in Size 3. Even though my baby isn't crawling yet, these diapers are very similar to the Swaddlers and fit well. They have the soft/stretchy sides like the Swaddlers. We did not like the regular Pampers as they didn't have the stretchy sides and seemed bulkier. For your Newborn, there's no subsitute for the Swaddlers!
Product Review: The BEST diapers! Summary: 5 Stars
I love these Pampers Swaddlers diapers. They are the softest, cloth-like diapers you will find. Plus, they smell nice! I have NEVER had a problem with leaks (but I haven't had much of a problem with other diapers either). We actually used Huggies first, because that's what we were given before the baby was born. My husband bought these after my daughter was about a month old because we had a coupon for them. I immediately fell in love with them. I wish that I had used these from the beginning.
My only complaint is that this version of Pampers only goes up to size 2! I wish they went all the way up in size. I have to say, I'll probably switch back over to Huggies after my daughter can't wear the 2's anymore - I think the Baby Dry Pampers are too hard. The Huggies are a little softer - although, they don't compare to the Swaddlers!
Product Review: The best N diaper, period. Don't waste your time with Huggies. Summary: 5 Stars
Our hospital used these, and we compared at home. Huggies were terrible! They proved to be poorly fitted (essentially straight, with little leg contouring) and leaky as can be. A disaster. We simply threw the rest of them out they were so worthless. By contrast, the pampers fit well, can be easily folded out of the way of the umbilical stump, and have never leaked. They are also quite compact--an added bonus. Our newborn is of average size and weight.
Product Review: The best diapers ever! Summary: 5 Stars
The hospital where my son was born used these diapers and were great. When I got home I experimented with huggies, luvs and drybottoms (walmart brand) but swaddlers are by far the best for leak protection, fit and scent. They are more odor absorbing so my son stayed smelling good even with a dirty diaper. I will not use anything but pampers swaddlers!!
