Product Review: Only diaper that fit my newborn...

I didn't expect my daughter to be so small when she was born. She was 6lbs 3oz and was tiny! We had to buy preemie clothes for her because nothing else fit.. especially diapers. I loved these, they wrapped around her perfectly and came up higher in the back, never had a problem with them leaking EVER and she was breastfed in the beginning. She's now gone through the size 1's and are about to start the size 2. I am just sad that they don't make them past size 2. Great diapers. Love the stretchy sides too. I didn't find the problem with folding them down for the umbilical cord either- it falls off so quickly anyway, what's the big deal? And I REALLY love the cloth-like feeling. I hate hate hate "papery" diapers. Really wish they made them to a much bigger size.Product Review: Pampers Quality!! Get the Swaddlers!

We highly recommend Swaddlers newborn over the Huggies newborn which seemed to leak more often and had an odd fit. The Pampers newborn size are soft and absorbent plus they also smell good. Buy them at Target or Walmart where you'll find better prices than on Amazon. The packages (40 count) we have bought recently have come with 10 free Pampers sensitive wipes. I also did the diaper test as I had many different brands of diapers given to me when my son was born. He was born 6 lb, 5 ozs. so we had to use the Preemie diapers because he is built like his father, no butt/no hips. But when we could use the bigger size, son is now 10 1/2 weeks, all of them leaked except the swaddlers. If your like most Mom's you get tired of laundry and by going through 5 outfits per day because the diapers are leaking, I say kudos to that.
I imagine the different shape of your child may lead you to another brand so best to do what Mom's around me do, the "leak test."
But this product gets 5*****Stars from us.
Product Review: Pampers vs Huggies

Ahh, the ultimate controversy. I feel like I've graduated from college to adult when the hot topic with my friends has changed from 'boxers vs briefs' to 'huggies vs pampers'.
We did stage our own version of the Pepsi Challenge, and purchased Huggies, Papers, Luvs and even some other random brand I found in our local grocery store. Huggies wins hands down. Luvs leaked all the time, and was even kind of scratchy. Pampers was nice and soft, but also leaked (especially the NB size). For us, Huggies has never leaked. The elastic bands around the legs fit well, the diapers are soft enough to not bother my son. We've used Huggies from size NB up to 3 so far and have still preferred Huggies in each size range.
Within the Huggies line, I prefer the Ultra-trim (which I guess is being called something else now?) over the Huggies Supreme. The Supreme were extra padded and tended to bunch up. They didn't leak, but they just weren't as comfortable for my son's frenzied activity level.
As for fit, my son has always been small for his age (10th percentile in weight, 60th percentile in height), so I'm not sure if that makes any difference... maybe pampers works better for chunky kids? Which opens up another age old controversy "does size really matter"? But that's a conversation for another day.
as an added note, I buy my diapers through [...]and save lots of money by buying in bulk (can I say that here?). And for the hardcore Pampers fans, they sell Pampers too.
Product Review: Smelly diapers

I'm not sure if it's just my son but whenever we use these dipers he smells bad, like chemicals. We don't have the problem with any other dipers. But at the same time We never had a problem with the swaddlers leaking
