Product Reviews of Pampers Swaddlers Diapers, Newborn Sesame Street, 40-CountProduct Review: WORTH THE MONEY - a mistake not to buy these! Summary: 5 Stars
This was a suggestion from a friend of mine to purchase prior to my delivery. She belongs to a group of about 25 women & mothers who randomly test out products and report back on which ones worked best on their little ones. She reported that out of all the brands out there (Huggies, Kirkland, etc.) Pampers Swaddlers ranked high with 20 out of the 25 women. They all reported that leaks were not an issue at all, and they kept the moisture away from the baby better than any other brand. Not to mention that the amount of diaper rash was minimal from these if at all. Also - in my personal experience... they held in the worst blow outs to date yet with my new baby girl. I was amazed that much stayed in the diaper! :) I recommend these to anyone who is looking for a diaper to fit their newborn less than 10 pounds. My baby was 5 lbs. 10 oz. when born and went down to 5 lbs 4 oz. She has fit into them all along, and is currently still fitting into them fine at 6lbs 1.3 oz. The one draw back is that they are of the pricier brands... but they are well worth the money. Do some shopping around to see if you can find them cheaper than on amazon.com. After purchasing these I was looking around and found them cheaper at other sites.
Good solid buy for any new mom - and with the peace of mind that you don't have much else to clean other than your little ones bottom (no blow outs - unless your hubby is like mine and does the diaper too loose), who could resist purchasing these? :)
Product Review: What a waste. Fortunately they were free!! Summary: 1 Stars
I got them from a hospital, so I do not feel bad for spending lot of money for nothing. And it would be spenging a LOT of money for nothing. I am not gonna write a novel here "this vs that", because all those reviews say the same thing. Nothing new. I will tell you though that as a hot mom I am a huggies fan for 2 reasons. 1st they DO NOT leak (and I am saying thins using all huggies for almost 3 years now) and 2nd is that thay are safe for your child. They are no animal tested (all huggies products) and they are not soaked with chemicals. And now I just have a little information for those "MOMS" who knows it all. Papmers and Luvs are one the same brand - P&G (Procter and Gamble) so of course they will be worth nothing :)!!
Product Review: Worked great for us! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved the Swaddlers. The hospital where my son was born used the newborn size and gave us a pack to take home. I loved Pampers Swaddlers and now the Cruisers over any other brand, especially Huggies. Huggies just didn't fit right. It always took several tries to close the Huggies diapers correctly and only one with Pampers. These diapers are highly recommended by me. I just wish I could get more coupons!!
Product Review: Works for me Summary: 4 Stars
I have to say, even though Alex is my first child and Pampers being the only diaper I have really tried...other than the free samples of Huggies...the NB size has worked for us. Alex was 6lbs 7.5oz at birth and one month later 7lbs 12oz and still in the NB size...debating on moving up a size. The only problem we had with leaking is remembering to put "the pee-pee down" (I have to say it to remind myself at changings!haha) When he "pointed north" we had leakage which was our fault. Other than that, it is amazing at how much a NB diaper can hold!
Product Review: Wow, I couldn't disagree more Summary: 5 Stars
I am really surprised by some of the other reviewers' take. I guess every baby is different. For us, Huggies Newborns were terrible. They are high-waisted and we couldn't get them away from the umbilical stump. As if that weren't bad enough, twice we ended up with poop everywhere. After that, we switched to the Swaddlers which is what the hospital had been using. We have never had a single leak with the Swaddlers. They are soft, obviously better quality, stretchy, super absorbent, and stay away from the stump well.
Update - we are still using Swaddlers at 4 months and still adore them. And we have still never had a leak.
