Product Reviews of Pampers CruisersProduct Review: DRASTIC PRICE INCREASE AND INCONSISTENT QUALITY Summary: 1 Stars
We used only Pampers Swaddlers then Cruisers for our daughter 2 yrs ago. We started to use them for our son for the past 4 months, then suddenly noticed the change that the other reviews mention: no mesh lining, poor quality and more expensive. Pampers, if you're going to change the item, give customers a little respect by rebranding or clearly marking on the pkg b/c parents are loyal to their diaper brand (or did you think we were too dumb to notice?). We decided to order just one more box of the Cruisers before we had a chance to "test" out some other brands... but this time we received the original diaper (thicker with the mesh liner). I'm toally confused. Did Pampers change it back due to customer complaints or were we shipped an older box that happened to have the original kind in it? And what's with the HIGHWAY ROBBERY pricing that appeared to have happened overnight -- used to pay $42 and now it's $60?!?! WTF. Is the pricing set by Pampers or Amazon? We've been loyal Prime customers for years and I've never seen rates this outrageous for this type of item. I had been happy with Cruisers, but I'm not insane -- we're in a recession and we have mouths to feed! Guess we'll give the Costco brand a try.
Product Review: Daily cleaning on baby mass and cloth Summary: 1 Stars
After our baby grow into size 4, cleaning his cloth becomes daily routine. We are very upset about the poor quality of this diaper.
Product Review: Diapers fell apart and netting sticks to skin Summary: 1 Stars
I have tried different brands of diapers (including store brands), but I have to say this is one diaper that I despise and will not use again. Apparently I got a bad box due to all of the other raving reviews.
All of the diapers in the box came apart in the seam of the crotch. And, on top of it, the top layer (closest to the skin) seems to stick to the skin. I notified Pampers of the issue and they responded - which I appreciate that in a company.
I am sticking with the Pampers Baby Dry line...slightly cheaper and more dependable.
Product Review: Dishonesty from Amazon & Pampers Summary: 1 Stars
We've always paid extra for Cruisers with mesh lining and ordered from Amazon Prime. Neither Amazon nor Pampers websites provide straightforward information about the change in product. Amazon shamefully continues to show a box and a diaper that are NOT what I received when I ordered (no mesh lining- a purple non-mesh lining now, and box is slightly different). Shame on you, Amazon! And Pampers has dropped this diaper totally from its website and now features their "new" poorly rated version. Incidentally, my local grocery store carries the original mesh ones at a decent price. For shame! No way to treat loyal customers.
Product Review: Dry Max Cruisers Summary: 1 Stars
They changed the design of the Cruisers diapers. We used to buy Pampers Baby-Dry diapers for day use and Cruisers for night use. The Baby-Dry diapers couldn't hold in the wetness all night long but worked great for day use and were cheaper than the Cruisers. Now the new Cruisers can no longer hold in the wetness all night either. We no longer see the advantage of buying the Cruisers over the Baby-Dry diapers. We haven't experienced the diaper rash issue that others have. We'll continue to buy the Baby-Dry diapers for now, but we won't buy the Cruisers anymore. I don't know why companies feel the need to mess with a great product. I'm sure it was another bad marketing department decision. They always have to change things to make themselves appear useful...
