I use the Endurox R4 as a recovery drink. It does seem to help me get the energy back in my body quickly and help with workouts the following day. The lemon lime is ok, but I prefer the chocolate flavor. It's quite sweet and is a bit like a milk shake.
I've begun drinking a 'recovery drink' between bike and run workouts and that works fine.
The protein in this drink sits fine on my stomach. Oddly enough I cannot use the same brand of riding drink, The formulation of protein must be slightly different.
I use Hammer's Perpeteum on the ride and Endurox after - combination works fine for me.
I like to mix it in a shaker glass with a couple of ice cubes to help shake it up and cool it off. It does however, mix well in room temperature water.
