Product Review: PUR Attachable Facet Water Filter.

This type of Filter rdeally works well and is where Water can be filtered and have things taken out of it from the Tap. Filter works very well and will last for three months before it needs changing and also the Filter has a warning light on it letting you know when it will need changing to new filter. The replacement filter have seen ata Raplhs Grocery Store for at least $20.00 but I am sure amazon does sell RF-9999 Filter for this filter at a lower price than what yiou can get at a Grocery Store, Discount Store, or Hardware/Home Improvement StoreProduct Review: Re-designed filter mount is a defective product

I've happily used the Pur water filter screw-on holder for kitchen sink faucet for over 7 years.
They changed the design. The new fitting that screws on to the faucet is made of plastic (instead of the old metal) and the threaded part isn't big enough to securely attach to the faucet. When the water is turned on, the filter holder flies off my faucet like an jet airplane squirting water all over the kitchen. It is impossible to get filtered water out of this piece of junk. The idiots who re-designed this thing should get the Darwin award for extinction of a great product.
I will never buy another one of these and they have totally lost me as a loyal customer.
Now I need to find another company that makes water filter housings that work and that has good filters that remove chlorine, etc.
Goodbye Pur -- whatever corporate idiot made you redesign this product without testing it on real world faucets should promoted to Chairmen of the asylum.

I had been looking for a faucet mount water purifier and bought this one (without reading the reviews). Also, bought a years supply of filters. Within two months the filter started cracking and leaking. The product is not made to handle even moderate water pressure. If I don't want to get squirted, I have to turn the water down so low that it just dribbles through. Water tastes good--but the product is poor quality.Product Review: pur water filter system

Have used this system before, and needed a new one, the price and quality are what keeps me coming back to PUR. The service and speed of delivery was excellent
