Product Reviews of PINKHAM LIQUID Size: 8 OZProduct Review: Give It Time To Work! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been coping with hot flashes for 5 years. During this time I've tried Estrovan, the Sam's Club equivalent to Estrovan, Vitamin E, acupuncture, and now Lydia Pinkham Liquid to treat hot flashes. All of these remedies have worked to alleviate the frequency of occurrence and the intensity of heat felt during a hot flash moment. The jury is still out on the lasting effect of Lydia Pinkham but for the time being, it seems to be working. The other remedies mentioned lost their therapeutic effect with constant use and I gave up using them. When I began with Lydia Pinkham, it wasn't until I began my second 16 oz bottle that I noticed that the hot flashes had diminished in both frequency and intensity. As I am several doses into this second bottle, the hot flashes have completely abated, but as mentioned previously, the jury is still out on the lasting effect. I am taking 1 tablespoon in the a.m. and another 1 tablespoon in the p.m.. The taste is, well, different: not really bad, but not really palatable. My attitude is "Drink it! After all, it's only a tablespoon!" I encourage any woman to try this remedy. An herbal tonic that's been in use for over 150 years which specifically treats `women's issues' owes its staying power to something! I'd put forth that it is because the stuff works!
Product Review: Hmmmm... Summary: 5 Stars
I don't know if this has anything to do with me getting pregnant. I suffered from really bad crmps durring menstruation and my aunt told me about Lydia Pinkham Liquid To Feel Better During Menstruation And Menopause - 16Oz]][[ASIN:B000NPWR5S. She told me that I might get pregnant but I thought nothing of it. I started taking the pill form after I came off my period on Nov 18 then switched to the liquid form in at the end of Nov. I stopped before my period was supposed to come on in Dec and got a positive pregnancy test on Christmas Day.
Makes ya think!
Product Review: Lifesaver Summary: 5 Stars
When my mother was going through menopause a number of years ago, my grandmother recommended this herbal compound. I had to search high and low for it at the time (before internet searching brought the world to your doorstep!), but when I found it, my mother felt like a new person. Since then I've talked with many women who have used the Lydia Pinkham products and have been very pleased with the effects. The combination of natural herbs tastes terrible, but work wonders at relieving a multitude of symptoms associated with menstruation and menopause.
Product Review: Lydia Pinkham - An Oldie but a Goodie! Summary: 4 Stars
I use this concoction at the beginning and during the first 5 days of my cycle religiously. I haven't been able to test to see if the claim that it aids with having a girl, since I'm not yet pregnant. But for the advertised purpose? It's great! A bit licorice-y tasting and I highly recommend mixing in a glass of orange juice.
Product Review: old school tonic does the trick Summary: 5 Stars
I remember seeing ads for this tonic when I was a young girl & didn't know what a "woman's complaint" was. Well, now I know! I'm on my 2nd bottle & so far it's doing what I reckon it's supposed to do. I have more energy, sleep a bit better & don't get as cranky as I did. I still get "power surges" but not as bad. But now I will say this: it smells bad & tastes worse. I mix it with juice to make it go down easier.
