My husband and I have used Braun electric toothbrushes/irrigators for many years. However, this latest model is the very best ever! It's new technology offers gentler brushing and irrigation, but both seem to provide more thorough cleansing. It's new timer is great...lowering of speed while brushing. I have purchased this new Braun toothbrush for several other family members also.
Description of OxyJet 3D Center Oral Irrigator
This set provides a family with two superior oral hygiene devices in a compact counter stand (which can also be mounted on a wall). First, there's an electric toothbrush with color-coded brush heads (two are included; more can be ordered) that pulsate in and out while also rapidly oscillating to scrub away plaque. Two sets of extra-long bristles on the brush heads' sides clean deep between teeth. A sensor automatically stops the high-speed pulsations if too much pressure is being applied. Second, there's an irrigator that mixes air and water (or mouthwash) to create a stream of microbubbles that attack plaque-causing bacteria between teeth and along gum lines. A switch offers a choice between a straight stream or a stream that rotates 8,000 times per minute. You can also select water pressure. The irrigator comes with four color-coded jets.
