I bought my Oster Fast-Teq clippers at the Long Beach Hair Show two years ago. Since then I've done about 2,000 haircuts with them, t sounds incredible but at Great Clips we do up to 20 haircuts a day. Not only do the Oster clippers work effectively but I've never even had to have the blades sharpened. By comparison I've owned FOUR trimmers over the same period. The only problem I ever had was I was doing a fade on a boy and my guard fell off. I scalped the boy and his mom wanted to kill me. So when you're using plastic guards you have to make sure they're fully snapped into position, and then you should lay one of your fingers alongside the guard to make sure it stays in place.
Anyway I am super happy with these clippers and I highly recommend them. They're attractive and build to last.
