For $114 I would have expected something better than this. These clippers, after 2 uses, now literally RIP the hair out of the side of my head when attempting to use them for a haircut. I've read the manual, keep the blades well oiled, and done everything else I can think of to adjust them.
Apparently scientists haven't yet figured out how to manufacture a good set of working clippers...these Osters get a big fat "F" rating from me. Buyer beware!

This clipper classic 76 is not new to me, I'v used them before and have confidence in clippers and Oster company. Most of all, Amazon made it so easy to acquire the clipper, better than any other sites. They were very fast in encouraging me to buy from them and at a very reasonable price. My husband likes to wear his hair in a "buzz" cut, just like those given to new military recruits. For several years, I cut his hair with a "Vidal Sassoon" clipper purchased at Wal-Mart. I hated it. Not only was it so loud that we both had to wear ear plugs, it didn't cut well, pulling his hair and leaving sprigs and gaps behind. It sometimes took up to an hour to finish cutting his hair, and even then I had to cut stragglers with scissors. This Oster clipper, which I believe is used by military barbers, is a marvel. It zips through my husband's hair like the proverbial hot knife through butter. We're all done in little more than 5 minutes. It has some heft to it, but it cuts so quickly that the weight is not a problem. And it's much less noisy. No more ear plugs required :) It cost about twice what we paid for the Sassoon clipper, but it's well worth it.Product Review: Great Product!

this is the dopest pair of clipper i have ever used. i did a lot of research on different types of clippers and i am so glad that i chose this one. if its industrial you want this is the clipper for you. if you are second guessing this purchase let me put confidence in your choice. i am very picky when it comes to the things that i purchase and i only purchase the best quality to get the biggest bang out of my buck. i hope this review helps you guys out. also think why do barbers use this clipper? cuz its the best. BUY IT!!! peace.......B
