Not only did this product not do any repelling of mosquitoes, it left an irritation band around my wife's ankle that is still there 5 months later! I don't know what ingredient in it that could do this, but this has been a bad experience for us.Product Review: Bite protectiing bracelet-hopeful

Like the Bite Shield, one needs to have multiple more of these on each arm, leg, feet, in order to avoid biting insects. I have strong allergies against any type of insect bites, and this bracelet was far from being sufficient help. Maybe a small nuisance to those probably very tired flying or crawling insects but not for the ones with their usual intent to bite a human being anywhere they find an opening from a fabric.Product Review: Bug Band

I purchased six of these bands for our trip to Costa Rica during the start of the rainy season. I usually get many mesquito bits when I travel to beach destinations so I thought these bands would be great. I did still get bits, I'm not sure how many there would have been had I not been wearing the bad on my ankle. I did get tired of the smell, but I felt if I took it off I would be eaten alive! They could be a little larger for ankle purposes, but I guess most people wear them on their wrists. If you are not really bothered by insects I'm sure they work great, but I had to wear deat spray as well.Product Review: Didn't work for me

Doesn't seem to work for me. I got bites within minutes whether it was windy or not. I am sticking with my OFF Familycare Smooth & Dry spray with 15% deet. It works very well for me, and it was well reviewed by Consumer Reports magazine.
