Product Reviews of Organic Preggie Pop DropsProduct Review: Finally! Morning Sickness Cure That Works! Summary: 5 Stars
I am on my 4th pregnancy and have struggled with varying degrees of nausea, from mild to severe, with 3 of the 4. I've tried numerous natural remedies, along with some over the counter and prescription medicines that my doctor recommended, mostly with little or no results. I didn't expect much of these drops, but they work wonderfully for light-medium nausea! I am completely sold and have ordered a bunch more to get me through the pregnancy and for use during labor. Organic to boot - love that!
Product Review: Helps, but... Summary: 3 Stars
These definitely helped, but I'm thinking that any sour hard candy might have done the trick.
Product Review: They helped a little... Summary: 4 Stars
I was desperate when I purchased these Preggie Pops. I had a job interview coming up in a week and had spent the previous 3 weeks puking and sick all day long. So I needed to be able to function and feel better early in the morning. The Preggie Pops did help, but I think that any hard sour candy would have helped. I don't think there is anything special about them. I did try regular cheapie lemon drops after I ran out of Preggie Pops and they also helped.
Product Review: They taste great AND work! Summary: 4 Stars
My morning sickness has not been too terrible, as I have not even thrown up (I'm at 10wks). However, I have been quite uncomfortable, especially in the evenings and the idea of food, in general, is quite nauseating.
These preggie pop drops are wonderful! I was recommended them by a friend and I thought, why not?
Pros::
~I was only looking forward to the apple flavored ones, but now that I have tried all of them, I love all of them! Raspberry is my favorite, lemon my least favorite, but they are all great. Just the right amount of sour too.
~They actually work. Now, I will not say that it is definitely not a placebo effect, but I'm a big believer in the placebo effect, so it doesn't really matter to me. For all I know, them working is all in my head . . . I like to think they actually do the trick, though.
~They are organic and not at all bad for you. That's always a plus, especially in pregnancy.
Cons::
~They aren't cheap, no matter where you get them, even on here. This has prevented me from sucking on as many as I wish to. You just have to weigh the relief from nausea against the price per pop drop.
~I only suck on 3-4 a day, when my nausea is at its worst or right before dinner time. However, the roof of my mouth, my tongue, and even certain places on my cheeks, have become a bit raw. Again, weigh this uncomfortable aspect against the nausea.
Bottom Line::
They are worth a try if you need some nausea relief.
