Description of Oregon Scientific PM138-B Pulsemeter, Green
Monitor your heart rate easily and conveniently with this sporty wristwatch pulse meter. Features a detachable module to wear conveniently around your neck with supplied lanyard -- or strap it on your wrist with the velcro watchband. Uses an optical finger sensor to measure and show your pulse on its LCD display in just seconds. Blue HiGlo backlit illumination for easy viewing.Designed to be worn as a wristwatch or around your neck using an included lanyard, the pulsemeter travels easily and monitors your heart rate from any location. To operate, press the Pulse button on the upper right corner of the pulsemeter and place your index finger on the pulse sensor located just below the LCD display. Your pulse rate displays in several seconds.
When not taking a pulse, this product also operates as a real-time clock with 12- or 24-hour settings. In addition, the pulsemeter has a countup/countdown timer with an alarm that counts to a maximum of 29 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. Electro-luminescent backlighting on the LCD screen makes it easy to read in the dark. This pulsemeter runs on one 3V lithium cell battery (included) and is covered by a 90-day warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde
