Customer Review: You get what you pay for -- a cheap toothbrush

The price is great for this toothbrush, especially comparing it to the rest of electric toothbrushes out there. With this great price comes some design flaws. The Vitality is shaped differently than the AdvancePower (which my wife is using now and is happy with). The AdvancePower is shaped with the wide part at the base, whereas the Vitality is wide at the top and tapers down at the bottom. While it might not seem like a big deal, the result is that your toothpasty saliva very easily drips down the body of the toothbrush and onto your fingers and hand. Even when I'm careful, on most days my toothpasty saliva gets all over my hands, and it is the most annoying thing in the world. So unless you raise your elbow up to the sky every single time (which is not terribly comfortable), expect your hands to get dirty. Also as a result of the tapered shape, the toothbrush falls over easily, causing the head (that you stick in your mouth!) to get dirty. This toothbrush is as annoying as ever... but it does run well, and I can't complain too much because I didn't pay that much for it.
