Would like for the water pik to be stronger but I really like the machine. There is a large enough water tank for useage. It's wonderful having the toothbrush and water pik on one plug. This is my second Braun Oral-B toothbrush and I prefer it to the Sonicare because the brushing sensation isn't as ticklish.Product Review: Just as good as the old one

use lots of the options, but the extra handle is a must (for trips) and the case is better.

I had tried battery-powered toothbrushes in the past, but the batteries die so quickly it became expensive to replace them all the time. This toothbrush does a much better job at cleaning your teeth and it is always charged. Since this item came with two handles, I keep the charging stand in my bathroom with one handle and my brother uses the other handle. When his handle loses it's charge, we just switch. We've only had to do this once and I've had the toothbrush for a month. It was a pretty good buy-- like getting two toothbrushes for the price of one.Product Review: Lots of brushes - only one speed

Don't waste the extra $$ on this model - I bought this for a present for family and thought it would be a step up from the ProfessionalCare 7000 series model we own but it's not. The 7000 model has two speeds and my wife cannot bear to use the higher speed - "buzzes" her brain and yes some people are sensitive to that kind of thing... kinda like running your fingernails down a blackboard. If you prefer lots of attachments, including a tongue cleaner, and don't care about the lack of two speeds the 8850 is what you want... other wise the 7000 model is a better deal to me.

I bought this for my husband and I and we absolutely love them. Our mouths have never felt so clean. I was worried about paying so much but it was worth it. I think it would be hard to go back to a traditional toothbrush.
