Product Review: Bought because of braces

The toothbrush doesn't work very well with cleaning behind the braces but does the job very well everywhere else. I have to go back and clean behind the braces with a different toothbrush but the oral-b is worth all the praise it is getting. The item works well enough, but is nowhere as good as the one I had previously, also from Braun. That one is still available, but costs a bit more.I am sorry that I did not buy it
The new toothbrush takes forever to charge and needs to be re-charged continuously. There is no way I could take it on even a short trip.
Also there is only one speed which is on the slow side.

The Oral B 3D is one of the best products on the market if your teeth matter to you. I have been using the Oral B for almost a year now, and my dentist has told me that he can see a marked difference in the condition and health of my gums and teeth! Since gum problems run in my family, this is a big deal. For those of us who have always been a bit lazy about brushing, the Oral B's timer tells you when you've brushed enough; the multi-directional pulsations leave your teeth feeling really clean - like you just came from the dentist! I've very protective of my teeth and take very good care of them. Yet after going to the dentist twice a year, brushing, flossing, using mouth wash, etc...I was always searching for a cleaner feel. This Braun electric toothbrush is the answer I've been looking for. This is my 1st electric toothbrush, and after the great reviews I've read on Amazon.com, I decided to give it a try. It so easy and convienient to use and it makes my mouth feel clean all day long. It's cheesy to say, but it feels like it does after the dentist cleaning! This toothbrush is so incredibly efficient and technologically intriguing, that my boyfriend helps himself to it. I will never go back to my old toothbrush. Quite an investment but worth every penny. You can do like I did and ask for it for Christmas. Thanks Dave and George.
