I've owned one of these (the same one) for many years. The plastic is thick and durable. It does a good job of cleaning your tongue without being too abrasive. Most of the other tongue cleaners I've tried are cheap, thin plastic or metal but don't fit in your mouth or clean your tongue properly. I definitely recommend this product.
