Customer Review: Good foundation for weight/muscle gain

ON Serious Mass serves a good, inexpensive option for weight gain and muscle development in coordination with a dedicated weight lifting program.
The best aspects of this product are its taste, ability to blend with milk (using a small table-top blender), and value (amount per dollar). The nutritional aspects were fair, though following the directions on the package (2 enormous scoops mixed with about 20-24 ounces of milk or water) are not ideal for me. I instead used about 10-12 oz of 2% milk and a single (large) scoop of the powder. This made it tougher to reach my daily protein goals. This is because this beverage is better designed for general weight gain than it is for protein/muscle building.
Overall I was very pleased with this product and would buy it again, however if you are looking to gain a modest amount of weight but primarily build muscle, you should either pair it or replace it with something that has more grams of protein per ounce of (blended) beverage.
