I'm a chocolate lover and this chocolate has a pretty good flavor, smooth. It is a mild chocolate flavor and the casein is slightly granular however, it becomes less noticeable if you let the shake sit for several minutes after it's made. I use non-fat milk and add a tablespoon of grape seed oil. This way you get healthy fat in your diet (no cholesterol) and it makes it taste even better. In addition, the fat lowers the glycemic index so you get sustained energy. You can add oatmeal but the shake is pretty thick with just the casein. This is great for your body to get a slow stream of protein over a long period of time. I use it every night before bed and whenever I'll be going several hours without a good supply of food then I take it. Since I eat about every 2 hours I always have protein to fuel my muscles, but not when I'm sleeping. So I got this. It works. I gained 2 lbs of muscle in the first 5 days I took it. I haven't gained 2 lbs in 5 days since...well, ever.
The results have slowed of course but I am still making small gains that I wouldn't have without it. I stick to natural products like this because I want to get good definition and I have to have a clean diet to get that.
I just use my Blender Bottle w/Wire Ball to mix it up and it works very well. I mix w/water or almond milk. I love the taste.

I am using it for appetite control. It works pretty good for that. I sweeten it with Stevia and try to slam it down immediately, before it has time to thicken. Gold Standard Natural Whey is way better.Product Review: Tastes bad but works great!

I only bought this because it was cheaper at the time, but after going through two 5lb tubs I definitely support this product. It does as described. The only suggestion I have is not to mix this with warm or hot water, that makes it taste horrid. Slightly cold water works best, it seems to get a weird clumpy texture if you use icy water.Product Review: no quality control
