I have had diabetes for 15 years. I have recently received this device after seeing it advertised in Diabetes Forecast magazine. The lancet is only 33 gauge which is a great start. But in addition, the lancing mechanism is different and doesn't pound your finger when it lances. Highly recommended for a more pain-free experience, especially when you check your blood sugar 3 or 4 times a day.
