Product Reviews of One Touch Ultra Blue Mail Order Test Strips, 50 CTProduct Review: Great value, Short shelf life. Summary: 3 Stars
Product was exactly as expected but the expiration date was only 5 months from the date I purchased it. I expected the strips to last at least a year from the date of purchase. So, if you use alot of strips this is a great deal, but if you just want to check your blood sugar occasionally this is not the product for you.
Product Review: Half Price of Retail Summary: 5 Stars
I had not been testing due to cost & was thrilled to discover I could get test strips from Amazon at literally half the cost of any other place including Costco, Walmart, etc. The strips arrived within a week with free shipping. The printing on the box is not quite as nice as retail, but who cares? It's what is inside that counts! Product is the same & I have had NO problems! I will continue to order my diabetic testing supplies from Amazon!
Product Review: Half the price of brick-and-mortar stores Summary: 5 Stars
When I first bought test strips, I bought the same brand from a national drugstore chain for about $30 for 25 strips. Yikes! Determined to find a better price, I looked on Amazon and found these for half the price. I was a little hesitant at first; it seemed too good to be true. Reading the other reviews gave me the confidence to order them and I'm glad I did. They read exactly the same and the expiration date was more than a year away. Can't beat that anywhere. I'll continue to buy them.
Product Review: Happy in Riverdale, Ga Summary: 5 Stars
I have purchased the One Touch Ultra test strips twice from this website. The product was delivered timely. Also, this is the best price I have gotten for this product. I am currently unemployed with no insurance coverage, and I appreciate being able to get this product.
Product Review: I might be the last to give comment... Summary: 5 Stars
I might be the last one who should give comment. I'm not really diabetic, just very borderline. I got a free monitor from the manufacturer and bought these strips to do enough tests for a year. I only test about once a week, if that often, and I consistently come up in the lowest margins of diabetic.
My doctor says to treat it "as if"... watching my diet, and taking a low dose of generic medication. Anyway, these strips work great in my experience and the testing is simple, almost trouble free. I see no reason to give them anything but the highest rating. Given the company's interaction -- allocating a free testing monitor -- I see these strips as one of the easiest ways to go.
The lancets are very thin, and set at a low setting, the finger stick for a blood sample is completely pain and trouble free. No more than a small droplet of blood is needed, so the piercing procedure is hardly felt at all. The very small finger prick heals almost instantly -- no band-aids, no bruising.
