This is a smart little device. Not only does it count your steps, it records those steps (and other data) right into the Health Management Software that is provided. You connect your pedometer via a USB cable that is provided and DL the latest activity. Then you hope you have ALL happy faces, if not, you get off your behind and do some more walking! This little device is so light and simple, even I figured it out. It also accumulates masses of useful information for those of us in a perpetual battle with age, health and weight. As readers of my blog know, I'm on a quest to become healthier and this baby is really helping. It's very inexpensive and worth at least ten times as much as I paid. p.s. it can't cook Cajun. I have tried other pedometers in the past and usually wiped out the memory by bumping into things. I decided to give this one a try especially since I am a tech junkie. I have loaded the software onto my laptop and can't get over how easy it is to track progress. The pedometer resets itself at 12am each night so no way to accidentally erase the memory. It also tracks when you are taking your steps. Sure enough, it very accurately accounted for my AM treadmill time. You can also set goals. Don't worry, you don't have to load the information in each day. It can be done every couple days which is a plus. Another good feature is the sturdy belt clip. I don't have to worry about knocking it off. I love it...I wish I needed two! The price is also reasonable compared to cheaper models. Happy stepping!Product Review: A good product

I really like this pedometer. The software that comes with it is very useful and I like how it charts my activity. I also like that the pedometer itself allows you to go back several days to see your progress. Overall, good product.Product Review: A great device

I found this product easy to use, dependable and fun...I have been pleased finding out how many steps I walk (and the fact that it also calculates miles, calories and more - is great). I've also enjoyed the software to keep a log of my steps!!
