Product Reviews of Omron HJ-151 Hip Pedometer for Aerobic ActivityProduct Review: Simply Perfect! Summary: 5 StarsThis pedometer is by far the most perfect little device ever! I've owned numerous pedometers in the past and this one surpasses them all. It is inexpensive, simple to use, accurate and sturdy. If I could give every single person on a diet the Omron Aerobic Pedometer, I would. It is quite simply the perfect pedometer.
Product Review: love it! Also buy a safety leash too! Summary: 5 StarsI love this little gadget. I find myself parking further away in parking lots and I tend to volunteer to "go get it". I'm adding steps every day and it keeps track of my walking which in it's self is a great motivator.
But! You will loose it if you don't buy a "safety leash for pedometer"
I bought one on Amazon.com for $1.25. The leash comes with it's two clips just remove the plastic one and loop it through the hole on the top of the pedometer's clip.
Product Review: Very reliable pedometer, the one to get. Summary: 5 StarsThis pedometer is very reliable and far better than the typical cheap pedometers available at the drug stores. It is a fully solid state device that uses a semiconductor accelerometer. The 7 day history of steps, miles , kCals are useful for keeping a log of activity.
A small quibble is the clip that can result in the pedometer dislodging under some conditions. I did lose the first one I had when it fell off at the beach.
Product Review: Pedometer Summary: 5 StarsI bought this for my parents. It came promptly and was in excellent condition. As far as I know my parents really like their pedometers.
Product Review: Surprised! Summary: 5 StarsI was pleasantly surprised at how easy this thing is to work and how completely accurate it is. I work in a hospital and it clips and stays easily on my scrubs. I've already bought another one as a gift. One day I held it in my hand and walked over 300 steps with complete accuracy ... I can't ask for any better than that. The moderate steps feature is so important to me. There have been days when I felt like I was on my feet all day and my steps may have been near my 10,000 a day personal goal... but the moderate minutes were only 5-10. So I know that I still have some work to do to get to the 30 minutes goal of moderate exercise each day. I think it's a great motivator.
