The Omron HJ-112 is far above the best I've seen. Easy to read, easy to setup, and very accurate. Be sure to use the auxiliary clip to secure it, though!!Product Review: 2 years and still going strong

I purchased my HJ-112 in Feb '06. In that time I've walked well over a million steps, dropped it (I, stupidly, don't use the strap) on the ground, even dropped it in the toilet once, and it just keeps running! I can't complain about the battery life. Sure, Omron states it at 1 year and I only get about 10 but... who cares?! It's not dying every other month like some. I've had to replace the batteries twice. That's it. I'm greatly considering getting another one, though, because mine has become very ugly from my abuse.
The clip is very well designed, I rarely have trouble keeping it clipped on my clothing. The accuracy is very good, better than other pedometers I've tried in the past. I don't know what I'd do without my trusty sidekick :) He keeps me on track!

I bought a Omron HJ-112 for myself. I really like it. My husband requested one and it was a birthday gift from our daughter. i bought my pedometer 3 months ago through Amazon. Wonderful product, really helps me keep motivated in walking. I bought the Omron HJ-112 Digital Premium Pedometer to help me keep track of my progress. my goal is to lose weight and get back in shape after having my youngest child. i just love its accurate counting and how it keeps track of my distance, and how much calories I burn. Buy it, it is worth it.

I bought this pedometer on a recommendation from a Walking website. I had already tried 2 different models and was completely disappointed with them.
This Omron is awesome! It is easy to program/use. It keeps a history of my steps the past 5 days. It measures aerobic steps in addition to regular steps. Best of all, it has a belt clip so I'm not endlessly picking it up off the floor!
If you're looking for a great pedometer - go Omron!
