Product Review: An excellent BP monitor

After using this monitor for about a month, I would say it's everything I need and performs quite well. It appears to be reasonably accurate (compared to recent readings by my doctor), though, I have not verified this with a direct on-site comparison in my doctor's office. After a BP medication adjustment, I needed to report out two weeks worth of readings to my doctor so the memory function really came in handy. Even though Omron sells a pricier unit with the software and cable that transfers readings directly to a computer, I ended up transcribing the readings manually to a spreadsheet, which was not a big deal. I appreciate how the cuff is clearly marked for proper placement on the arm which takes some of the guesswork out of the process. If I had one complaint, however, I would say the cuff does not fit my arm as well as it could. Upon inflation, it just happens to hit a bone in my elbow that causes some discomfort, but, since most reviewers seem to find the cuff quite comfortable, I just may need to play with its positioning a bit more. In summary, this is an excellent BP monitor and worth your consideration.Product Review: An excellent product!

This blood pressure monitor is far easier to use than others I have tried. The pre-formed cuff is simply to apply with no pinching of the skin and no fumbling to position it properly. A comparison with the doctor's office showed very accurate readings. The memory feature makes it so simple to keep track of readings. I (and my doctor) recommend this affordable monitor to anyone who needs to watch their blood pressure.Product Review: An upper arm BP device.

This type of BP meter (upper arm meter) was recommended by my doctor to be the most accurate one. So I bought a new HEM-780 BP meter from Amazon and to check the doctor's statement I brought my new HEM-780 BP meter to doctor's office checking my BP parallel to his checking with his professional mercury BP meter device. The readings were very close and I was pleased to have found a reliable BP meter finally.Product Review: Another test done easily!

My doctor suggested I get a blood pressure cuff and have her check it out. It checked out great. It is easy to use and both my husband and I can take our blood pressure using the same monitor/cuff. The price was better than others I checked.

The arm cuff (?) supposedly fits all arms but this is NOT the case. I have had numerous times when it would not work due to the arm being too large.
