Once again....great delivery and care from Amazon!!! The product arrived protected with little air bags as I call them!! This monitor is great. I took my blood pressure and it averaged out the last 3 readings as advertised. It is easy to use. If you order it don't do what I did. I looked at the hoses and saw black bands around the hoses that looked like twist ties that should be removed. Don't take those bands off. They are supposed to be there and I had to fetch mine out of the garbage and put them back on !!! I should read instructions better LOL!! I will know for sure how accurate it is when I go to the doctor but Omron has not steered me wrong so far and I have their pulse watch and pedometer too.Product Review: Just what I needed

For anyone with a larger arm (and it doesn't take much), it is important to have a larger cuff to accurately monitor your blood pressure. It's easy to use, comes complete (it includes an AC adapter!), and even has a feature that automatically tracks your readings and calculates the average. We purchased the Omron at the specific recommendation of my husband's cardiologist. I did my research on the Omron website, choosing the HEM712 for its features, and the large cuff out of necessity. Before I purchased, I checked Amazon and saved over $40! The Omron was very easy to set up and is easy to use. The small size and low profile make it easy to store.
To check accuracy, my husband took his BP with the Omron before, and then after, going to the doctor's. The Omron matched within two points!
The Omron is easy to use, accurate and affordable. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I found this blood pressure meter easy to use and quite accurate when checked against my doctors readings. Keeping the readings in memory made it very easy to keep my doctor inform of the results. The size of the cuff is very important, so be sure to order the right size for your arm as the wrong size will give inaccurate results. This is true in the doctors office also. My blood pressure dropped several points in the doctors office, on his machine, just by changing the size of the cuff.
This is an excellent monitor - I couldn't be happier with it. It is nice to be able to use it with batteries too.

I bought this item because I'm a pretty big guy and needed a cuff that would fit me as well as my wife. My wife has suffered a stroke and needs to monitor her blood pressure twice a day. The monitor works very well when I use it, but my wife has trouble getting the cuff to fit and sometimes gets errors. The monitor is very fast, getting a reading within two minutes and I consider it very accurate.
