The OMRON HEM 712CLC is easy to use, easy to understand and budget friendly. I needed an instrument that I could utilize and when necessary carry with me to monitor my BP and heart rate. This particular model is the exact same one that our medical office on the job uses so I had no problem getting it together. Now I can know when my BP rises or falls. It also monitors my heart rate and even gives out the averages over a period of time to let me know when I am hitting a trouble zone or everything is OK. And it runs on batteries and current. This unit is really easy to use. Directions are easy to understand. You can use it with batteries or plug it into the wall. I like that I was able to buy the large cuff without having to buy the small one as well. Readings appear to be accurate. I have not gotten to compare it to the doctor's office. My Doctor suggested Blood Pressure home monitoring as mine was a little high and He
wanted a record for a couple weeks. I found this unit online and I can tell you it works great.
I need the large cuff but there are smaller cuff models also.
Works well and is very simple to use. Get one of these and put your mind at ease.
Monitoring is very important and I am very pleased with my Omron and it was very reasonable also.

Works as advertised...very convenient. My wife is a physician and has taken my blood pressure the old fashioned way and the Omron unit is dead-on.
