This blood pressure monitor works very well. This is the 2nd Omron BP monitor we've purchased, the first one was very similar (about 6 years ago), and the display on it recently died. I checked with Omron about repair, and since that particular model had been discontinued, my only option was to purchase a new one. I did a lot of research deciding whether to get the arm cuff model again or a wrist cuff, and decided on this one. It's very easy to use, has a nice display, and is very accurate. This is the best blood pressure monitor I have ever used. I took it to my doctor's office to check it against theirs, and even they were impressed. It makes the process of taking your blood pressure a breeze. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that needs to check their blood pressure regularly.
As to the Amazon ordering process, once again it was simple. I ordered and they shipped before the expected ship date. They kept me informed of my order during the whole process. I order a lot of items through Amazon every year and their prices are great and the service is outstanding.I will continue to use Amazon as they have always performed well for me. Their business model stresses customer service and it shows!

Omron HEM-711AC Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor with IntelliSense I received this monitor quite timely and actually haven't used it yet but plan on it soon. It was packed very carefully to avoid dammage and came in perfect condition. I bought this particular one because it was reviewed in Consumer Reports as one of the best monitors.Product Review: Good accuracy, nice unit for decent price

This unit is very easy to use and set up for the basics- monitoring your blood pressure.
It comes with a nice zip case and easy instructions. I had no problems getting it to work properly,
and it appears to be very accurate. I take my pressure twice a day, and am very happy with this unit.
Dont be surprised if you get an occasional reading that seems way to high or low- it could be a variety of factors, including when you do the test, how anxious you are, etc.
Read the directions, put on the cuff and press the button. I take my readings and put the results into an Excel spreadsheet, and made a graph to give my Doctor. He really liked having the info right there.
Great unit for an affordable price.
