The Omron wrist monitor works great. I took it to the doctors office to compare readings and it checked out. It's easy to use, small, conpact and, simple to pack for travel or storage. The computer program is easy to use, The reason I gave it a 4 star and not a five is because it only only stores the information for one person in its memory. I believe you can download the software for free from Omron. In that case I would purchase the model without the computer upload feature and do it manualy, which is very quick and easy. We purchased this monitor to be able to quickly and conveniently monitor blood pressure. It is very easy to use, appears to be accurate, and just does the job.
The positioning sensor makes sure you have the unit in the proper position for the reading.
I didn't rate this a 5 only because there was nothing really outstanding about the product. It does the job, plain and simple.

I bought this for my dad. He has chronic hypertension.
Pros:
* slick design
* very silent
* monitoring software
* great display
* high quality
* accurate measurements
* multiple measurements possible for improved accuracy
* heart position sensor
Cons:
* throws an error in cases of low pulse rate, weak pulse and arrhythmia (another device we used had the same problems, but that one was 3 times cheaper)
* user switching is not straight-forward
Overall, this is a very good device and probably the best you can get for home use if you need a electronic on-wrist BP monitor.
Product Review: Accurate and Easy to Use

I've used this product for almost a month now. It's easy to use and has proven accurate. I took it to my cardiology appointment and it gave the same readings as the doctor's equipment. Plus, I was told this is the unit most doctors recommend, due to its accuracy. The software that came with it (as well as a USB cord) make it possible to easily download your results onto your computer and print the results or save them. It comes in a sturdy plastic case for storage or travel. The manual is easy to understand. I would recommend this to anyone needing to watch their blood pressure and pulse carefully.
