I really wanted an accurate way to monitor my blood pressure no matter where I am. Although I was wary of using a wrist blood pressure monitor, I spoke with a few nurses and a doctor and decided to give the Omron HEM-650 (Omron HEM-650 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with APS (Advanced Positioning Sensor)) a try. This thing is sweet! It comes in a small travel case that I can easily fit in my brief case and as for accuracy, this thing is spot on! And I find once you get used to where your arm needs to be, I have no trouble getting a reading.
Buy this with confidence - you will not be dissapointed.

These are accurate, sooooooo easy to slip on my wrist, and are sophisticated with memory, irregular heart beat alert, huge memory, etc.
I've used the upper arm, wrap around velcro models for many years, and they all work just fine.. only problem is that I have to take my sweater or shirt off to use... which is no big deal, but since my doctor sometimes wants me to take readings 3-4 times a day for a month to see the results of hypertension med changes, the upper arm readers become a big inconvenience over time.
This Omron wrist product is great... easy to use ..... I've used Omron products for years and trust their readings, so now I have a convenient Omron wrist machine.
If you're looking for a high quality, convenient, easy-to-use blood pressure reader, THIS IS THE ONE!

I am pleased with the results of this BP tester.
It's very accurate and convenient to use- results in
about 25 secs. There were pros and cons about the accuracy
of the wrist units compared to the more cumbersome larger
models that wrap around your upper arm, but I am convinced
that at least this model does what it suppose to do.

This is such a handy BP Cuff, and I have tested it twice with the nurse at my Dr.'s office, took with this wrist cuff first both times, then the nurse took it with hers and they were very close in the reading both times, months apart. I highly recommend this wrist cuff! It is super easy to use, saves your readings for future reference for the Dr.
