Omron HEM-637 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with Advanced Positioning Sensor
The doctor told me my blood pressure was high and to purchase a bp monitor. After reading several reviews, I decided on this model. It had good consumer reviews and it seemed very easy to use compared to the arm cuff monitors. After purchase, I took it to my doctor's office and the nurse did my pressure and it was high on their equipment and lower by 20 points on this monitor. The doctor came in about 20 minutes later and retook it and he had the same results to. He said that I needed to get a Large Cuff monitor because I would get a much more accurate reading and it I could better control my blood pressure and my chance of stroke.
So as cool and easy as this model is to use, my health is more important and I am returning this WRIST MODEL and ordering a Large Cuff monitor

The first one did not work so Amazon sent a second. The second did not work (meaning inaccurate readings) so contacted the manufactured who sent a call tag and then shiped it back saying it worked within specifications. If specs are 15-20 points off then they have a real screwed up product. Contacted Amazon and they took it back but with a 10% restock charge on a product that never really worked.Product Review: It wasn't accurate for me.

I followed the directions precisely and always received readings a good 20 points lower compared to my pharamacy's and doctor's blood pressure readings. I'm not sure why it didn't work for me, but I returned it.Product Review: Great for home use

I tried this unit, Its amazing, Actualy, I was visiting a friend, when suddenly i felt im sick , so he has this unit, he sujested to check my BP , i was surprised to see my blood presure was 190/116 !!!!!! yes it was, i rushed to a hospital, and the reading there was exactly as this unit. i start treatment from there. i think this unit is so great and accurate.
