Product Review: unreliable scale and horrible customer service

Brand new scale gives 5 different weight readings for the same person in five minutes. My husband got readings for his profile one day and the next received nothing but error messages. Then the next day his profile readings worked fine again. I called customer service and they told me it sounded like something was internally wrong with the scale and I should send it to them so they could determine the problem, fix it and send it back. I told them I did not buy a refurbished scale, I bought a new one, and I wanted a new one to replace this one. They refused, saying the warranty is for "repair only". That's understandable if the scale is breaking after months of use, not brand new! I returned it to Amazon.
From reading the other reviews, it looks like it's a great scale IF YOU GET ONE THAT WORKS, but it seems as though there are quite a few lemons out there! I guess we got one of the lemons. So I guess if you want to buy this scale, ask yourself... how lucky do you feel?
