I'm a small girl and lift weights which means I need to know if the weight I'm gaining or staying at is muscle or fat. I know that muscle weighs more than fat so it's very important for me to maintain my BMI and fat %. I've always used a Tanita scale which only showed my BMI and not fat %. This scale blows Tanita out of the water and now I can monitor my fitness more closely than ever before. This scale is easy to use and even comes with a chart of what's normal weight for your height. My only complaint is it's a little thick and won't fit under my door like some small scales with less features.Product Review: Better than Tanita

I compared this body fat monitor to similar ones from Tanita. You are definately getting more for your money here. It stores up to 4 users where the Tanita models only store 2 and compares function for function elsewhere at a lower price point. Not to mention that this scale just feels like better quality when you pick it up. I bought one with one of the Omron Pedometers to take advantage of the instant rebate on Amazon. (I haven't seen an event on Tanita on Amazon for a while.) The pedometer was the #1 rated in CR. They are both top notch products.Product Review: Boby Fat Reading is Bogus

I had my body fat measured with calipers and it was 14%. This scale says I am hugely obese at 30% body fat. What a joke! Just buy a regular scale or buy an expensive monitor, don't buy this if you think the fat measurements will be accurage.Product Review: Body Fat Monitor Well Below Average

This is expensive considering that all you get is a scale. While I can appreciate that perhaps it can show a trend for BMI or Body Fat Monitor, the numbers for those metrics are completely off. It is telling me that I have 28% body fat. Calipers have told me that I am around 12%. Save yourself the hassle and buy another product.Product Review: Body Fat Monitor and Scale

This Omron product continues my extreme satisfactory experionce with their products....Blood Pressure Monitors, Pedometers, etc. The product provides consistent and accurate measurement, and for a much more often used weight scale a very accurate and easy to read value. Very satisfied with the product and feel its price to be very reasonable.
