Purchased this to aid my bodyfat tracking in a 12 week transformation challenge. It might not be as accurate as the Hydro Bodyfat test but it seems to be very consistent and has helped me tweak my diet and training to near perfection. The Omron is inexpensive, easy to use, and provides consistent and repeatable body fat measurements if you follow the instructions.
Yeah, there are ways to get more accurate body fat measurements, but not at home in less than a minute. And certainly not from a device that costs anywhere near as little as the Omron.
Product Review: Doesn't work for unusual body types

Well, I'm sure this would be an awesome and cool device when it works. And it does work - that is, if your body falls within a certain range of body types, shapes, weights. Being a paraplegic, my legs have long atrophied, and I'm about 40 pounds under the weight at which the Omron will even calculate body fat for someone of my height (5'10). And, as far as I can tell, there's no mention of this anyway in the marketing or description. Thank god Amazon has an awesome return policy.Product Review: Dont buy get a skin fold test instead

I purchased this hoping it would give me an accurate measurment. Ive had it for 3 months and my body fat hasnt changed says this mahcine. I got a skin fold done by a certified professional body builder / personal trainer and my body fat was 17% The machine says I am a 25%. I got 3 differnt skinfold test done by 3 differnt people and they all came back 17%. This machine was a waste of money in my opinion. If you want the truth get someone who knows how to take a skin fold test to do measure you. This machine is not accurateProduct Review: Dosent work if you are large

Damn thing dosent work if you are over weight!
Gives you an error reading if your BMI is high.
So For those people who are large and wanting to keep an eye on their fat percentage dont get it. go to your doctor instead.
