Product Review: Accurate, consistent and feature-packed. This scale rocks!

What has me so excited about a scale? Yes, this scale has great features and add-ins. But the main thing that I LOVE about this scale is that it is CONSISTENT and accurate. I have had previous digital scales (for example: Thinner brand) where you could weigh yourself three times in a row and get three different results - up to 2 lbs different! This is so frustrating for dieters and those who are closely watching their weight.
The Omron HBF-500 scale will give you the same result three times in a row, perhaps plus or minus 0.2 lbs at the most. No more wild swings and trying to guess what your true weight is. The body composition monitor and other features (multiple user settings) are great, too. But you don't have to use these features all the time - you can stand on it like a regular scale and get your weight, too. I'm very glad I upgraded our scale to this model. I am no longer frustrated by our scale - this is a consistent, accurate scale that works as advertised.
Product Review: Almost all I could ever want...

I've tried many body fat scales and handheld monitors and have usually been disappointed, especially in cases where the monitor was seperate from the scale. Its just too much work to have to first weigh yourself and then input the weight, etc., every day.
This is the first scale I've ever used that does a great job of tying both functions together. It is consistent and easy to use, which are the primary concerns for me. In addition, it takes a multitude of other measurements which can be tracked up to 90 days. All in all, it is the best home scale I've ever used, and I heartily recommend it. Granted, it seems to be more expensive now than when I picked it up last year, but I still feel that it is worth it. Making it easy to monitor your body fat/weight can help motivate you to do something about it, i.e. get off my arse and go run, at least in my case.
In the future, I'd like to see this same scale with the ability to view all the stored data, such as in a simple chart format. As it is, you can only view it in 1, 7, 30, and 90 day increments from the current day which is useful enough for most people.
Product Review: Athletes do Not Purchase

Warning to atheletes: This body fat scale does not have the athlete setting. It therefore cannot make the correct assumptions about bone density, etc. to give you an accurate body fat measurement. If you are athletic (10 hours+ of cardio per week and resting heartrate of 60 or less), this scale will not work for you. I bought this scale and it told me my body fat was a full 10% higher than it actually is.Product Review: Awsome and Accurate as a Bathroom Scale!

I have had this scale for about a year. This is by far the most accurate bathroom scale I have ever used! Most scales I have used are usually around 10lbs off. If I weigh myself on this scale and then on a hospital scale at an appointment a few hours later, there is not even a half a pound difference between the two! I absolute love it. I also love the following features: ability to store a record of weigh-ins, BMI and BFR measurements for multiple users! I would give this product 5 stars just on weight alone. But since it has other features like BMI (Body Mass Index) and BFR (% of Body Fat) measurements - I have to give it a 4 star rating as I find these features completely inaccurate and therefor utterly useless. My recommendation - if these additional features are not important to you and weight accuracy is - you still can't go wrong, in quality or price (there are far more expensive scales that offer only the functionality of weight measurements).Product Review: Best Scale I've Owned

This is the first scale I've ever owned that I actually liked (and trusted!). The precision (consistency) is always within 0.2 pounds, which is excellent. The scale is low profile so it doesn't intrude on space either. I don't use the body fat features so much, so I can't comment. Highly recommended!
