Product Review: Great sleep helper

This machine looks the same as Homedics one. However, it is $29.95 vs Homedics $19.95. The extra $10 is well worth it. It is better than Homedics one in two ways: (1) It still has a slight background noise at the extreme low volume. However, it is very light. It is much lighter than Homedics one. So, it does not bother me. Homedics one has a louder noise. (2) The sound seems to be clearer than Homedics one.
Again, I am not 100% sure that the difference is cause by the individual units that I received or not. But for me, I had both of them. And clearly, Obus Forme one is better.

I'm a very light sleeper and has used sound machines for years. This machines has a great selection of sounds, great sound, good looks and is the best I've owned. It is a very good value. Over the past 20 plus years I've owned two others. One stopped working after one year, the other I've owned since the late 80's. I use my old machine in the bedroom, and my New Sound Machine in the bathroom blocking 90% of disturbing sounds. I love this product.Product Review: Great, Reliable Sound Machine

We use this for our new baby. Great, reliable product. We went through two other brands (they just quit working) before we bought this one. A little pricier than other models, but definitely worth the money.Product Review: Has a FATAL FLAW!

This machine electronically "loops" a digitized 3 to 5 second file of each sound rather than producing a truly random sound. Because of this fatal flaw you hear tiny little "defects" or imperfections in some of the sounds which it is capable of generating. My favorite is white noise where the defects are especially audible. So, as you're trying to fall asleep your mind will quickly become aware of these defects and "anticipate" them mentally, causing you to probably "time" them in your head. An incredibly subtle defect, but it has devastating consequences for falling asleep.
This is a common problem with all of these cheaper sound therapy machines. The better ones don't seem to have this problem.
Mine is going back to Greal Lakes HHS in Erie, PA, and I'm probably going to buy a Marpac unit.
Product Review: It's pretty good

I think this is a good product. It has a good variety of sounds. My favorites are Summer night, Running stream and Tropical forest. I am however disappointed with the ocean waves recording. The ocean sound is to fast to fall asleep to which was why I bought it. It sounds like an ocean which is having a hurricane -- not very relaxing. Other wise it is a very good product, and very easy to use and I like the 60 minute automatic turnoff feature.
