I have a low back problem that is chronic. This belt puts comforting pressure on the lower back when it is "out" but I've also been wearing it to support my back when I am engaged in normal activities requiring a lot of bending (gardening, housecleaning). It provides support for the sensitive lower back but also reminds me to move correctly!

Available in both male and female designs, the Obus Forme Back Belts have been tailored to conform to the shape of the male and female physiques, respectively. Careful attention has been given to the design and shape of each Obus Forme Back Belt so that it best fits and supports the natural contours of the male or female back pelvic anatomy for optimal comfort. Slimming vertical stripes on the female belt flatter and complement the natural curves of a woman's body. A uique built-in, ventilated lumbar pad provides additional postural support to the lower back, while breathable nylon mesh wrap minimizes the build-up of perspiration. Additional elastic abdomial side panels provide as much or as little compression as desired for different activities. An adjustable, quick-release hook and loop closure holds the belt firmly in place.
