Product Review: Great support! Summary: 5 Stars
The Mckenzie Lumbar Roll helps me get the support I need while sitting for long hours at my desk. I recommend it to anyone with neck or back pain or discomfort.
Product Review: Great support, not so great strap Summary: 4 Stars
I experience pain and discomfort from Sciatica, and there was a point when it made driving almost unbearable. After doing proper stretches and changing how I bend and such, combined with the Mckenzie roll & tush cush, I feel much better. I noticed an immediate difference in how I felt while sitting the car while using this product. I recommend it to anyone with lower back pain. The only problem I have with the roll is the strap that comes with it. It doesn't do a very good job of keeping it in place on my seat, to the point where I just took it off the strap completely and just place it myself every time I get in my car. It is a minor inconvenience I suppose, but still worth noting.
Product Review: Huge Summary: 2 Stars
This roll is huge and pushes me way too far forward. As an average sized woman I can't see using this size roll in any kind of seat unless it was really concave and wide.
Product Review: I always travel with a Mckenzie roll Summary: 5 Stars
I've used this roll for 14 years. It was recommended fom my PT and i've used one ever since. Recently i bought another at Realx the Back as I lost my original one at an airport :-( then lost that new one at another travel destination, and then bought one from Amazon. These rolls used to be sold only at Physical Therapy places, but now are available for less online. This is a great lumbar roll for an average sized woman 5'4" 130lbs. I use it to drive my camry and it helps with elevating the chest appropriately, and keeping the spine aligned. One uses less core strength to keep the core in place while turning the wheel when using this roll. Also I alternate mine as a vertical spinal roll to keep the chest opened and not hunkered. This is a must for me in airplane seats as the head rest pushes my head forward and forces the back to slouch. Whereas the roll takes up that slouched space and allows for more ergonomic seating (if there is such a thing in an airplane seat). I always remove the strap, because I alternate the roll position to suit me in the passenger seat or driver, or in another vehicle.
